Cocobean is proud to feature the top steel drum players in Florida. These solo acts play the steel drum accompanied by pre-recorded music. They also sing and perform the latest hits, making them the true definition of a “one man show”.

Junkanoo Parade

Junkanoo is an expression of Bahamian Culture. The Junkanoo Parade is a group of high-energy performers dressed in elaborate costumes, who dance and stroll to the powerful rhythmic sounds of traditional Bahamian instruments. These include Goombay Drums, cowbells and bugle horns. The Junkanoo Parade is ideal for leading guests from one location to another, or to kick things off with a bang! They make a very dramatic entrance and will definitely “wow” everyone in attendance.

Moko Jumbie/Stilt Walker

The Moko Jumbie is the Caribbean version of a stilt walker. It originated in Africa and was brought to the Caribbean during the days of slavery. Wearing a mask and colorful costume, our Moko Jumbie will mesmerize your guests as he dances around on stilts to the high energy beat of soca music.
